My name is MacKenzie Moore. I am from rural Augusta County Virginia, where my familiy raises a small herd of Suffolk Ewes, and a variety of chickens. I am a graduate of Virginia Tech having my Associates degree in the Agricultural Technology program, as well as my Bachelors degree in the department of Agricultural, Leadership, and Community Education with a minor in Animal and Poultry Scinces. This coming fall I will be pursuing a Masters of Agricultural Education in the department of Agricultre and Life Scinces at Virginia Tech. I am wanting to have a career with Agricultural Education, but more on a community sense. I am hoping to work for Virginia Cooperative Extension or Virgina Farm Bureau after I am done with school.
